A Private class set up in the comfort of a home environment designed to share personal expressions with fellow kindred souls and to help inspired them to weave their own stories to bring about love, joy and passion through the calming and therapeutic art of crocheting.

Come learn the relaxing craft of crochet to discover the creation of basic stitches. Express your individuality by creating brilliant pieces with your hands. Lesson materials will be provided.

Lessons are suitable for Beginners aged 10 and more with no prior crochet experience and also for Improvers who need a Refresher and would like to continue their Crochet journey to pick up more Crochet techniques. Time and effort has been put into Lesson planning to bring about a variety of Crochet projects to be enriching and enjoyable for all.

Just as each step in life’s journey requires direction and courage, so does each knot in a crochet. In Cuddles4Cherish, we teach Love of crochet itself, no matter your skill level. Due to many requests, Lesson Bookings are available on Both Weekdays and Weekends. Coaching sessions are also available for those who need help with working through their crochet pattern. Crochet for Children helps keep them focus on tasks, improve hand movement skills, literacy skills and incorporating math to represent geometric shapes

Crochet for Adults helps keep the mind calm and distracts the brain from the stresses of life working with textured array of colourful yarns and repetitive hand movements

Crochet across all age groups helps give one a sense of accomplishment and build self confidence

      Having thought 2 Left-Handed ladies who had no previous crochet experience from the beginning-I can say its not a problem. They were able to learn and translate my demonstrations into the Left Handed version.

      Here are some details to share with you:

      This Lesson is suited for both Beginners and Improvers (some crochet experience or those who need a refresher) and who would like to further their crochet journey.

      These are what would be taught:
      * Basic Crochet Stitches, Single Crochet, double crochet, treble crochet stitches, slip stitches, etc.
      * Crochet pattern reading (Cuddles4Cherish Practice selection)
      * Crochet techniques -Intermediate(Lesson Project)
      *Crochet freestyle creativity-applying Gauge, colour works & stitch style combinations
      * Amigurumi Crochet

      $40/Lesson Fee Includes:
      Crochet materials will be provided for every Lesson(s) Practice/Project. If you have your own, feel free to bring them along. You will bring home a new crochet hook, 1 skein of yarn, stitch marker, yarn needle & a project sampler created by you in the first lesson. Cuddles4Cherish endeavours to make lessons enjoyable in harmony for all students.

      Lesson Venue:
      It will be conducted in my Residence in Sembawang- Creativity Home Space@Cuddles4Cherish

      Timing of Private lesson:
      Weekends (Sat & Sun), between 3:00pm to 6:00pm
      Weekdays (Tues & Wed), between 3:00pm to 6:00pm
      ** Wed lesson will be available only starting Nov 2019 – Cuddles4Cherish is teaching a group class in the hospital

      Lesson Booking Flexibility:
      You can choose the Lesson day(s). Does not have to be consistently on a Saturday. I have students who come in on Sunday for their first Lesson and come in on next Wednesday or Tuesday for their subsequent Lesson(s). If I am available, I will host and coach.

      Class size per Lesson :
      Max 4 students (Ladies only)
      *Mother & Child(<13yrs) learning are welcomed too.

      Standard Lesson Duration:
      At least 2hrs for any student to grasp the crochet concepts/techniques, hand movements and start working on their practice/project pattern. Students may come in @3:00pm -5:00pm or 4:00pm -6:00pm. (Timing to be indicated upon Sign up confirmation)

      Lesson Delivery Method:
      Lesson will be taught in English. Cuddles4Cherish teaches the Right Handed method and using US terms. Left Handed method can be taught too with visual translations. Previous experience shows that a student takes an average of 4-5 lessons to start on any crochet project confidently on their own with no previous Crochet experience. Everyone starts and learns at their own pace. Handouts and patterns will be given out according to one’s progress. Cuddles4Cherish aims to make learning an enjoyable process and not having to feel stress about being clumsy with the crochet hook, stitches & techniques.
