Tapestry Crochet is a new technique that I have acquired in my latest creations. Its a means to crochet colour work patterns without any yarn floats visible across the back of the work.
Such crochet techniques may require the use of pattern charts and may at times seem confusing. But its a worthy challenge to try my hands at. Basically I had to keep calm and untangle my coloured yarns along the way.
Colour work crocheted may be as simple as a striped pattern or a geometric motif. But it can give projects a different feel.
Colors play a very important role in our lives, whether we realize it or not. It can be a very powerful tool for communicating an action, to affect the mood and cause reactions in people’s minds.
I am glad to be able to use this new technique to convey messages that I intended to for my latest gift projects.
