Be Thankful

Anya, my close friend came up with a request a couple of days ago before her vacation trip out of town. She showed me a photo of a fabric wallet. I looked at it and asked-" Isn't that a fabric purse for pocket tissue?". She said it was and a friend of hers uses it as a fabric wallet.

Well, I told her that it did not look too difficult to make. Promised her that I would give it a try.

Last evening I had some time on my hands after completing my daily chores. I gave it a try as promised. I managed to sew a Fabric wallet aka Fabric pocket tissue holder after quite some time of planning and folding the fabric to be sure I got it right.

Then as I flipped and reverse it… I realized that this wallet was so fun!

It could be reverse and flip over with a slot infront and a slot behind.

It could also be reverse and flip over to have 2 interior slots

All thanks to Anya for suggesting this Fabric wallet sewing idea that required simple folding techniques similar to how we fold origami paper fan technique before sewing down the edging seams and flipping it right side out. I was having so much fun reversing and flipping my completed version of Fabric wallet.

Now that its completed. I decided that this would be my next Custom gift for Teachers' Day coming up soon in September. I am grateful for Anya's suggestion.
